Been a while... Time for some sweets.

Candied Saltines..

2 sticks of butter
2 cups of brown sugar
2 packages of saltine crackers
a cup of chocolate chips
Honey

A cookie sheet
Pam spray
Cooking Spoon
Pot

Directions: Spray pan with PAM or grease it - anything to get that pan lubricated for easy cooking and removal of crackers once done. Heat the oven to 400 degrees. Melt 2 sticks of butter into a pot over high heat and stir in 2 cups of brown sugar. Drizzle honey over saltine crackers while butter and sugar heat up and melt. You want it to reach a high boiling point (soft ball stage) - once there, pour sugar mixture over crackers evenly. Place in oven for 5-7 minutes. Sugar will caramelize. Don't let it burn though so keep a good eye on it. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over crackers. Place back into the oven for 30 seconds to melt the chocolate.

* You can melt chocolate and then drizzle it over the crackers if preferred.

Remove from oven and let cool for 30 mins to an hour.. to remove from sheet, use spatula and knife to cut crackers/toffee. Nom time!
